About the Team:
We are a Formula-1 team where every millisecond counts. Here, we are continuously innovating and building highly scalable backend systems and strategies that give a seamless experience to our customers even during large volumes of traffic hitting our systems.

  • 3-6 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator. (Proficiency in MS Sql, My Sql and Linux Administrator)
  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and ensure their stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement and manage SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Monitor SQL Server performance and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements
  • Perform database Hotfix, Patching and Service Pack upgrade to keep the MSSQL database up to date.
  • Perform database administration tasks, including backup and recovery, security management, and database optimization.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL programming and performance tuning.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor database performance, ensure high availability, and implement backup and recovery strategies using AWS tools and services.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimise database schema, queries, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
  • Design, deploy, and manage MySQL database systems on the AWS platform.
  • Install, configure, and optimise AWS Aurora/RDS for MySQL instances.
  • Manage security, access control, and user permissions for AWS RDS instances.
  • Manage and optimise database performance by utilising AWS database monitoring tools and services, such as Amazon CloudWatch and AWS Database Performance Insights.
  • Perform database Major version upgrades from MySQL Aurora v5.7 to v8.0 and patching to keep the database infrastructure up-to-date with the latest MySQL and AWS releases.
  • Stay updated with AWS database technologies, best practices, and security standards.
  • Understanding of AWS services and concepts, such as Amazon EC2, Amazon DMS, S3 Bucket or AWS Backups.

  • Good to Have :
  • Provide support for MongoDB, AWS ElastiCache, and Redis database systems, assisting with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of MongoDB, AWS ElastiCache, and Redis environments.
  • Familiarity with Monitoring tool such as Datadog,Grafana & SumoLogic
  • Should worked on Jira ticketing tool
  • Collaborate with Database Administrators and Developers to diagnose and resolve database-related problems.
  • Familiarity with database monitoring and performance tuning tools for MongoDB, AWS ElastiCache, and Redis.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, Liquibase, Terraform and Git.
