About the Role

As Senior Brand Manager, you will take on a leadership role within the Brand Management Team, driving organizational and marketing frameworks and processes that deliver effectiveness and efficiency in managing the company’s portfolio of brands. In addition to providing holistic strategic leadership, you will also own a small portfolio of virtual restaurant brands and lead marketing strategy and execution that build brand equity and drive end consumer acquisition. You will be the brand expert for your portfolio of brands, having mastery of each brand’s target consumers, customer journey, market dynamics, competition, business performance, marketing performance, and operations. Key responsibilities:

  • Build and implement optimized frameworks and processes for marketing planning and cross-department communications that drive higher level of effectiveness and efficiency in managing large portfolio of brands and multiple marketing programs
  • Generate new ideas and strategies to optimize marketing programs, including recommendations and implementations for new channel and audience opportunities as well as new partnership and external agency opportunities
  • Develop marketing plans with clear objectives and strategies, allocating marketing budgets appropriately across various marketing tactics and channels, applying insights from quantitative and qualitative analyses and consumer research
  • Build inspirational brand campaigns and marketing programs by bringing to life the brand’s value proposition through impactful creative and powerful messaging, maintaining each brand personality and tone across all consumer touchpoints
  • Create and execute advertising programs across channels, developing comprehensive creative briefs and working with internal creative team and external agencies
  • Develop promotional strategies that are grounded in data to deliver on objectives, as well as continuously test and experiment on hypotheses to drive stronger trial and conversion
  • Perform ongoing business and marketing performance analyses, tracking and evaluating KPIs to build key learnings, develop hypotheses, identify areas of optimization, and provide findings with actionable recommendations
  • Develop and maintain a meaningful consumer-facing presence through brand website, social media platforms, influencer programs, and PR activations
  • Work with Brand Development Team in assessing new concept launch opportunities and work collaboratively to develop go-to-market plans for new launches, including potential celebrity brands and CPG partnership concepts
  • Partner with DTC Marketing and B2B Marketing to ensure cohesiveness and alignment across executions
  • Work collaboratively with Operations to support our restaurant partners and drive programs that deliver on customer satisfaction
  • Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, consumer marketing, or relevant field, preferably at a consumer tech or CPG company. Experience in the food or restaurant industry is a plus. Experience managing direct reports is a plus.
  • BA or BS, preferably with a focus on Marketing or Business; MBA a plus

Experience leading successful organizational or process optimizations, managing development and implementation across departments.
  • Motivating Thought Leadership - Brings significant digital marketing knowledge with hands-on experience developing marketing plans and executing go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns. Reputation for providing meaningful guidance and insight to projects and to the overall organization.
  • Extreme Organizational Acumen - Focuses on being highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortably handling multiple ongoing programs with varying priorities, deliverables, and deadlines with utmost accuracy. Experience building models and trackers for new data and processes that logically and comprehensively capture the required information to increase productivity.
  • Agile Adaptability - Works well under pressure and adapts quickly and eagerly to changing environments, priorities, and expectations.
  • Keen Analytical Rigor – Develops strategic plans informed by rich data, compelling insights, consumer research, and market analyses. Experience driving customer acquisition through data and performance evaluations. Known for being a resourceful problem-solver who can think broadly and synthesize wide array of information to draw insightful conclusions.
  • Perceptive Creativity – Generates and encourages creative ideas that challenge common thinking and push improvements to processes and projects. Experience creating and implementing marketing activations that drive high consumer engagement.
