We're looking for a strong Manufacturing Systems Engineer to work under the Director of Production Solutions.
This role will be based in our Redwood City, CA office.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with R&D Engineering and Product Management to provide input into product specification documents. Author and maintain functional specification documents related to manufacturing test fixturesLead Manufacturing PVT (Product Validation Test) of new productsLead cross functional efforts to scope, develop, and deploy tools to assist in the efficient scaling of manufacturing and service businessesOwn troubleshooting and root cause discovery of complex electro-mechanical and optical systems. Collect test data, analyze test results, and guide failure analysis
Requirements: BS in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline5-7 years work experience in both R&D and manufacturing environmentsAbility to work in a fast paced international environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to ask questions and come up to speed quickly in new areas and projectsSkills in PythonSkills in Quickbase, JMPSkills in Splunk
Preferred Qualifications:Experience developing PCBA functional testersProven track record of leading cross functional teamsExperience designing and launching mechatronic systemsExperience leading small high functioning teams
