This role will be leading the team responsible for ensuring the quality of Carbon’s Hardware & Accessories products.
This role is located in our Redwood City, CA location.
Responsibilities: Put in place systems to proactively monitor field and production data to identify systemic trends which could indicate quality issues. Develop and maintain quality control plans for parts and productsAddress quality issues that arise through efficient containment, detailed root cause investigations, and cross functional collaboration to ensure implementation of corrective actionsCollaborate with R&D on new development projects to ensure quality requirements are input into product requirementLeadership of the team responsible for Carbon's Hardware and Accessories products
Requirements: BS or MS in relevant engineering discipline7+ years work experience in a manufacturing environment with some of that time leading a team of engineersAbility to work in a fast paced international environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills: Quickbase, JMP, Statistical Process ControlFamiliarity with Quality System standards such as ISO 9001Formal training in problem solving techniquesPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with and managing quality at contract manufacturersDemonstrated progression of increasing responsibility throughout career
