Senior Automation Engineer

You will be joining a diverse team with a dynamic culture, where team success is as important as celebrating individual contributions. Carbon is looking for a skilled automation engineer to join our team and use their expertise to build automations, integrations and applications which streamline our processes and communications. You will be tasked with developing, testing and administering new integrations within and between Carbon’s primary business systems, including Oracle Fusion Cloud, Salesforce, Quickbase and others. You will also be responsible for designing and developing integrations with 3rd parties.  Examples include, integration with 3PL distribution centers for pick/pack/ship transactions, integrations with logistics providers for tracking and real time status updates, building applications to simplify data entry, automating data uploads into business systems. The role requires expertise in programming, APIs, database architecture, analytics and SQL, along with a strong sense of operational business process. Responsibilities:Develop simple, automations and automated tools to enable business users to quickly and efficiently interact with Carbon’s business systemsBuild integrations and applications which support interaction and communication with 3rd party entities (ie, Suppliers, 3PLs, banks, etc)Develop wrapper UIs to automate tasks and introduce efficiencies

Expert in Python, Javascript, PHP, or other coding languages 
Strong SQL skillsStrong background API integrations using REST and SOAP protocols
Experience using and administering iPaaS platforms (Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, etc)
Experience working with databases and an understanding of database architecture
Experience working with Oracle Cloud ERP & SCM APIs strongly preferredBasic understanding of Supply Chain & Finance workflows
Strong desire to improve user experience of various tasks and applications
Willingness to learn new technologies and skills on the job
Strong communication abilities

Nice to Have:
Experience using Dell Boomi to build integrations
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations
Experience with Salesforce integrations
