This role will support Carbon’s Materials product vision of bringing to market innovative solutions and partnering with key stakeholders in executing on that vision.
ResponsibilitiesSupport Carbon’s product vision for materials. Identify current and future customer needs, and work with the team to develop a plan to prioritize, evaluate, and address those needsCollect and summarize customer insights and requests through interviews, surveys & data analysis; manage customer trials and feedback gathering exercises; draw insights from usage patternsWork with segment PMs and technical teams at Carbon to deliver and refine product requirement documents with prioritized features and justificationsEstablish and evaluate metrics to drive lifecycle decisions for current portfolio resinsWork within Carbon to develop and refine forecasts and financial models, and across GTM functions to ensure product successChampion strategies to improve customer adoption within our resin portfolio through product testing, positioning, print improvements, and moreBuild cross functional relationships and manage complex, cross-functional projects across multiple teams
Preferred Skills and Experience5+ yrs track record of demonstrated success in product development or product management working on chemical or material products to define, launch and support productsUnderstanding of polymeric manufacturing methodsExperience with various methods and approaches to data analysis (Excel, Tableau, etc)Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills; proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authorityStrong written and verbal communication; ability to motivate a team towards a shared visionBS/BA degree in relevant field; advanced degree and/or MBA preferredPrevious startup or entrepreneurial experience preferred
