This role will report to the Sr. Operations engineering manager and will have an overall responsibility for designing and building mechanical components. The successful candidate will work closely with Quality, Engineering, production and other groups to ensure continual improvement of overall
manufacturing and product serviceability capabilities.

Responsibilities:
On-time delivery of functional tools and jigsDesigning, building, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systemsIn charge of mechanical tool design for future products and process developmentResponsible for continuous manufacturing process and equipment optimizationDevelops manufacturing and tool calibration procedures, PMs and maintains drawings and procedure documentationRequirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in an engineering role (in a professional setting outside of academia and beyond internships) related to manufacturing (quality, manufacturing, or design)BS in mechanical engineeringExperience designing machined high precision assembliesKnowledge of machining, sheet metal, plating and gage design is a plusHands on engineering experience requiredSelf-starter, ability to work independentlyGood communication, organization and relationship building skillsWilling to travel up to 10% of the time requiredYou do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
