We seek to enable creators and transform manufacturing across the globe. Our team is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with mechanical component design experience. This role will report to the Sr. Operations engineering manager and will have an overall responsibility for designing and building mechanical components. The successful candidate will work closely with Quality, Engineering, production and other groups to ensure continual improvement of overall
manufacturing and product serviceability capabilities.

meals, offsite events and activities.

Please note: This role is based in Redwood City, CA and not work-from-home or remote.

Responsibilities:

  • On-time delivery of functional tools and jigs
  • Designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems
  • In charge of mechanical tool design for future products and process development
  • Responsible for continuous manufacturing process and equipment optimization
  • Develops manufacturing and tool calibration procedures, PMs and maintains drawings and procedure documentation
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an engineering role (in a professional setting outside of academia and beyond internships) related to manufacturing (quality, manufacturing, or design)
  • BS in mechanical engineering
  • Experience designing machined high precision assemblies
  • Knowledge of machining, sheet metal, plating and gage design is a plus
  • Hands on engineering experience required
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently
  • Good communication, organization and relationship building skills
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time required
