Salesforce Lead

Carbon is looking for a Salesforce Lead with extensive experience in Salesforce and related technologies. This role is responsible for providing overall direction and mentorship regarding architecture, strategies, and project execution for Carbon’s Salesforce applications. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, consultants, and IT team to prioritize, define and execute projects, and ensure that the Salesforce solution supports Carbon’s business needs. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen and understands how Salesforce can best enable and support various business processes. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business stakeholders and IT team to define a roadmap of Salesforce features and functionality
  • Manage complex projects, including project requirements, timelines, deliverables, and resources
  • Recommend best practice solution designs based on your experience and industry standards
  • Provide functional and technical direction to project teams
  • Lead the development, testing and deployment of new features and functionality
  • Design application solutions that span multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Field Service Lightning, Marketing, B2B Commerce, Communities) and meet business requirements
  • Oversee consulting partners involved with Salesforce configuration and development work
  • Document solutions, and present options to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the application
  • Manage and plan environment refresh strategy, release management and deployment
  • Identify and implement best practices for user management
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5 + years of Experience in architecting and designing full-stack solutions using Salesforce Platform
  • Strong understanding of business processes utilizing various Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Field Service Lightning, Marketing, B2B Commerce, Communities)
  • Experience leading development resources
  • Has successfully managed multiple complex Salesforce projects
  • Strong understanding of Apex programming, Controllers, Triggers, Configuration, Visual force, controllers, triggers, batch processes, lightning, SOQL, REST APIs and web services
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal and relationship-building skills
