Channel Sales Director
Carbon, a Silicon Valley-based additive manufacturing company, is revolutionizing how people design, engineer, make and deliver products. By combining advancements in hardware, software, and materials science, Carbon is creating a new category of industrial 3D manufacturing. We are expanding our operations internationally and have a need for someone to handle channel sales in Europe.
The Channel Sales Director is responsible for driving sales within the territory and helps maximize revenue opportunities through channel partners. 

NOTE: This role can be based in Spain, Germany or UK, with the ability to travel throughout Europe.


  • Achieve quarterly sales goal by selling new Carbon subscriptions through the channel. This is through an account-based strategic selling methodology to identify compelling events, business initiatives, decision criteria, quantifiable value and buyer roles in the decision process.
  • Establish technical competency in Carbon additive manufacturing and digital workflows. 
  • Define, plan and execute territory business plan leveraging sales partners, data and analytics to optimize territory management and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Stimulate market awareness, identify new opportunities and build an active sales funnel working closely with the sales partners in the network
  • Build Carbon advocates at strategic accounts.  Act as a resource by staying up to date on current industry trends and advancements.
  • Support selling efforts by attending industry events and trade shows.
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience and consistent record of annual over-quota sales results in tech/capital equipment sales.
  • Experience selling business solutions with familiarity of traditional manufacturing processes and digital workflow. 
  • Energized by a complex and evangelist sales process advocating for change to a new technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Europe. 
  • Strong personal network within the industry. 
  • Professional, patient and quick to listen when interacting with customers and teammates.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable with a dynamic, growing company 
  • Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent 
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism. 
  • Multilingual in at least 2 of the following (3 would be an advantage): English, German, French, Italian, Spanish. 
  • Professional sales training would be an advantage, but not essential. 
  • Ability to learn and comprehend highly technical information and in turn, educate customers.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, as well as Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
