What You'll Do:
A successful Senior Software Developer will develop and maintain scalable, high-volume web-based SaaS applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products and introduce new features. They will write clean, efficient code across the full stack, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to feature design and architecture with a focus on security and scalability. The role involves mentoring junior developers, participating in Agile ceremonies, and ensuring timely delivery of features. Additionally, the candidate will conduct unit testing, follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, and support microservices architecture and cloud-based development. Strong leadership, full-stack expertise, and problem-solving skills are essential.- Develop and maintain scalable, high-volume web-based SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers) to drive product improvements and new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the full stack (front-end UI, back-end databases, and model layers).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features, adhering to best practices for security and scalability.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers on the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Conduct unit testing and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality.
- Support the development and integration of microservices architectures and cloud-based applications.
What you’ll need to be successful- 7+ years of experience in full-stack application development for high-volume SaaS platforms.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design using Core Java 8+ or C#/.NET.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks like Angular 7+ or React.
- Strong understanding of databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience working in Agile environments with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-based development.
- Proficient in unit testing methods and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
- Knowledge of Git for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and training junior engineers.
