We are seeking for a Junior Oracle Applications DBA to manage, support, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite environments, particularly versions 12.1.x and 12.2.x. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge in Oracle database administration, application patching, cloning. This role requires minimum analytical skills, hands-on technical capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities will include :
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.1.x and R12.2.x) across development, test, and production environments.
• Perform cloning, patching, and upgrades of Oracle Applications and databases, including ADOP and online patching for 12.2.x.
• Manage application tier components including WebLogic Server, Forms/Reports, and Concurrent Managers.
• Performing regular health checks, database backups, and monitoring system performance to ensure optimal operation.
• Work closely with senior DBAs, developers, and functional consultants on live projects.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in system maintenance activities and scheduled downtimes.
Education: B.E in Computer science / M.C.A or equivalent
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with hands-on expertise in EBS 12.1.x and 12.2.x
• Minimum knowledge of Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c, RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard
• Knowledge on ADOP, WebLogic Server, and online patching in 12.2.x
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
• Knowledge on cloning, patching, performance tuning, and concurrent processing
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
