As an FA Zscaler Administrator you will be responsible for the configuration, operation, and improvement of the FA Zscaler platform, Zscaler products include ZIA, ZPA and ZDX. This role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performance access to the internet and private applications while supporting zero trust networking principles across the organization.
The administrator will work closely with Networking, Security, Identity, and End-User Computing teams to implement policies, troubleshoot issues, and support business and security objectives.

- Maintain operational health of the FA Zscaler platform, identifying KPI’s for monitoring, capacity planning and ensuring efficient usage of the platform
- Create and maintain documentation in a globalized and dynamic environment, including operating procedures for repetitive task completion.
- Manage global access to URLs, Cloud applications, SSL Inspection and threat protection policies.
- Provide reporting to key stakeholders within FA that identify the health and efficacy of the platform settings, controls, protections and alerts
- Analyze web traffic logs and alerts to identify emerging security risks and performance concerns
- Participate in a globalized ticket queue to track and resolve issues and changes requests
- Support secure access to private applications in the most performant manner.
- Improve existing app segmentation to increase access clarity and facilitate the traffic forwarding to be as close to the application as possible.
- Experience with basic virtualization and cloud hyperscalers (Azure/AWS ) for the purposes of ZPA application connector management and troubleshooting
- Manage, maintain and upgrade global fleet of Zscaler client connector for all OS varieties.
- Firm understanding of ZCC client posture settings, forwarding profiles and Zscaler tunnel configurations
Formal Education & Certification
- Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science and/or 1-3+ years equivalent work experience.
- The following certifications are highly desired, but not required:
- ZDNA or ZDTE
- 1-3+ years’ experience managing and configuring Zscaler products across a multi-cloud environment
- Excellent understanding of large, interconnected networks, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of orchestration and automation methodologies pertaining to AWS (CloudFormation), Azure (ARM and BICEP), or Terraform.
- Proficient at developing in any of the following: JavaScript, Python, Java, .NET, or similar languages.
- Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Experience interacting with Zscaler API in legacy mode or ONE API.
- Zidentity experience
- Understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deliver) software development principles and use of Visual Studio and GIT.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Exceptional documentation & technical writing skills.
