What You'll Do 
The Full Stack Developer is responsible for adding new functionality to First Advantage's key products and solutions.   Working on these high-volume, security intensive applications, is a role which develops quality code at differing levels of the stack. This individual will use their strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with global teams and has the ability to actively and effectively understand client and team needs
Responsibilities:
Develop APIs to interface with external vendors for criminal fulfillment
  • Develop internal workflows for processing data related to a criminal search
  • Review developed work to provide feedback and ensure alignment to best practices
  •  Troubleshoot production challenges as they arise
  •  Help plan technical implementations for requested changes
  •  Design, modify, and implement C# .NET software to meet functional requirements
  •  Work support tickets, identify and fix application bugs
  • Develop functional databases, applications and servers to support our application on the back-end
  • Create SQL and Database Schemas/Queries
  • Work in azure to design, manage and support cloud services
  • Communicates daily with Agile team on progress made and planned progress for the coming day and reports any          impediments that are blocking their progress
  •  Ensures an innovation culture in the team by continuous improvement of deliveries and participates in evaluating new processes and technologies that can be applied to future feature delivery
  • Other responsibilities such as application reporting and special projects as assigned

What You May Need to be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experienc.
  • 5+ years of experience in phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation and source management 
  • Knowledge of Java 8 or later, including Core Java concepts (data types, OOP, streams, I/O, exception handling, threading, and collections)
  • Knowledge of SpringBoot/Spring framework, including Spring modules such as Spring JDBC, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, etc.
  • Experience in implementing and understanding architectural paradigms such as Event-Driven, API, Microservices, and Serverless
  • Knowledge of REST principles, HTTP methods, status codes, and best practices,  various HTTP client libraries and tools
  • Different types of API authentication methods (API Keys, Basic Authentication, Token-Based, etc.)
  • Cloud development and Microsoft Azure services (can be learned)
  • Experience in working with/understanding of diverse data transmission formats, including JSON (Jackson, GSON libraries) and XML (JaxB, XML DOM libraries)
  • Unit testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito
  • SQL
  • Relational DB concepts, NoSQL databases
  • Oracle DB and database client tools such as PL/SQL Developer or Oracle SQL Developer
  • Basic understanding of/familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Basic understanding of/familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions is used in DIGS API apps)
  • Developer tools: Git, GitHub, Maven, Eclipse
  • HTML/CSS
  • Testing APIs with Postman or other tools
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles 
  • Proficient in C# with good understanding of MVC 
  • Proficient in ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS, Visual Studio, JavaScript, and Jquery
