The People and Culture Generalist 
(P&C) We are looking for an individual to support the day-to-day operations of our HR function, ensuring our people programs run smoothly and our team members have an exceptional employee experience. This role will handle a variety of responsibilities across onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and culture initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
  • Support the full employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
  • Maintain and update employee records with HRSS to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Draft and manage employment agreements, letters, and other HR documentation.

Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
  • Support initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Assist with employee surveys, engagement programs, and recognition initiatives.

Compliance & Policy Administration
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Assist with audits and reporting related to payroll, benefits, and labor regulations.
  • Help maintain and update employee handbooks and policy documents.

Learning & Development Support
  • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other professional development activities.
  • Track participation and gather feedback to improve learning initiatives.

HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Generate and analyse reports related to turnover, headcount, and other HR metrics.
  • Provide insights to help drive data-informed decisions.
     
What You May Need to be Successful:
  • 2–4 years of progressive experience in a People & Culture, HR Generalist, or similar role within the UK.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices, including areas such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, TUPE, and family leave regulations.
  • Experience managing end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, Sage, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to produce HR metrics and reports to support decision-making and compliance reporting (e.g., gender pay gap, absence management).
  • Experience advising line managers on employee relations cases while ensuring adherence to ACAS guidance and company policies.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced or multi-site environment is advantageous.
  • CIPD Level 3 or above, or working towards certification, is preferred.
