The Solution Engineer works alongside a sales person to discover a customer’s needs / requirements, and propose the best suited solutions to the customer. Involv actively in RFP preparation and demos by working with Sales in Pre-sales cycle. Interact with prospective and existing clients to collect information and provide proposed solutions. Support potential opportunities closure. Involve actively in RFP preparation and demos.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct discovery workshop or system demo with Sales Representatives during the Pre-sales cycle, interact with prospective and existing clients to collect information and provide proposed solutions.
• Involve actively in RFP preparation and demos, including customize & brand the platform so that it relates to client’s requirements
• Produce client-facing documentation when necessary
• Work alongside project management team to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
• Conduct requirements gathering with the customer to scope and estimate timeframes and deliverables during the onboarding process.
• Conduct implementation pilots and onboard customer to First Advantage platform and services successfully.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the background screening industry,
including but not limited to, the history of the industry and its future
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance
business relationships and project delivery
• Identify issues and risks, ensuring that they are appropriately captured raised and actioned
• Act as Project Manager role when necessary including developing detailed project plan, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering the project on time within budget and scope.
• Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement.
• Provide consistent project updates to various stakeholders about the progress, risks, adjustments and any areas of improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• 4+ Years Project Management Experience preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Customer Service, project implementation or account management role
• Experience in recruiting and human resources skills preferred
• Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
• Ability to strongly influence and build relationships with clients and across departments
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables
• Highly organised
• Strong prioritization and ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Communication management
• Knowledge and understanding of change management desirable
• Demonstrated negotiation, presentation and management skills
